Late last year I sold the awesome StraitEdge Angler PRO fishing kayak to Tim.
But this post is not about Tim.
It’s about Tim’s wife and her AdvancedFrame Sport kayak.
Tim was pretty excited about getting a good quality inflatable fishing kayak and we spent a while talking about it on the phone. Then, almost as an afterthought, he mentioned that he better get a kayak for his wife, who was NOT interested in fishing. I got a few details from him and was confident that the AdvancedFrame Sport inflatable kayak would suit her.
He sent me some shots of them kayaking on the Murray and Darling Rivers near Mildura.
What do you think? Does she look like she’s having fun??
Here is Tim’s report when I asked how it was going:
Thanks for the advice on the Kayaks, my wife absolutely loves hers (shes addicted)
I think it glides through the water with out much effort, good choice
Beautiful scenery and calm water – it looks very relaxing. No wonder she is addicted!
Apparently his daughter has gotten into it as well now, and wants one of her own!
I love the ducks in this shot, and I love the houseboats in the background – feels like summer holidays!
Mildura is a regional town on the NSW and Victorian border. Nearby Wentworth is where the famous Darling river joins the equally famous Murray river. The area is wonderful for watersports, including house boating, paddle steamer tours, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding in the summer.
If you want to go kayaking on the Murray and Darling Rivers near Mildura, there are plenty of places to launch. Just look for a sandy bank!
I knew the AdvancedFrame Sport inflatable kayak would be perfect for Tim’s wife (and daughter as it turns out) because it is:
- lightweight and therefore very easy to carry
- quick and easy to set up – ideal if you want to go out for just an hour or so
- stable on the water
- very supportive and comfortable for relaxing
- a delight to paddle
BUT, it might not be the right kayak for you.
It’s a lot of money down the drain if you get the wrong model, so it’s worth asking for my advice!Click HERE to get your FREE personalised kayak recommendation
About Oz Inflatable Kayaks
Hi, my name is Emily and over a decade ago I thought to myself “gee, I would really love to go kayaking … if only I had a big strong butler to help me get a kayak on and off roof racks. Oh, and several thousand dollars for the kayak and the roof racks (not to mention the cost of the butler)”.
To find a way to go paddling without a heavy hard-shell kayak, I started looking into inflatable kayaks. But I did NOT want a pool toy.
The Advanced Elements range of inflatable kayaks really blew me away (excuse the terrible pun).
I realised that the quality was not just about durability, it also meant that the kayaks were comfortable and easy to paddle straight and fast.
It just so happens that I was also looking for a business opportunity at the same time…
Nowadays I specialise (and delight) in selling Advanced Elements inflatables to all kinds of people in Australia.
I know the range so well that I do personalised recommendation videos to help people choose the right kayak.
It’s a no-obligation service that I enjoy doing AND it helps me in the long run because my customers that get a recommendation get the right kayak, first time. They are HAPPY customers!Click HERE to get your FREE personalised kayak recommendation
