“I purchased the AdvancedFrame Sport Kayak as I missed kayaking with my daughter when she took her hard plastic sit-ins north to live.
She did most of the heavy work back then like loading and unloading them into the trailer.
They were quite heavy and cumbersome.
I spoke with Emily and she asked questions about my fitness and age and actually suggested the one I was looking at, the AdvancedFrame Sport Kayak.
I’m in my 60’s, far from fit, and I can manage to carry it to the waters edge, inflate, pack it with my little stove and esky to make a cuppa at my destination and off I go, and it fits in my car!
No more trailer for me.
It’s the most comfortable kayak I’ve ever sat in and easy to paddle.
I use it mainly in Cattai Creek and into the Hawkesbury River.
I love all the different birds, water dragons and also the peace and quiet.
I also bought the Bellows Foot Pump and it makes inflating kayaks so easy and no bending.
It takes me 10 minutes to inflate and be on my way, but at my age, I’m not trying to break Emily’s record of under 5 minutes 😂
I can’t recommend this kayak higher nor Emily who is the most helpful person I’ve come across, and I honestly mean that.
Thanks again Emily.“

Kayaking at Cattai Creek
If you want to go kayaking at Cattai Creek, here are the details from Cathy:
I launch it at a little reserve below Cattai public school. You used to be able to drive down to the waters edge but people were tearing it up with their vehicles and dumping rubbish, including builders rubbish. Unfortunately, the council has blocked the entrance with sandstone huge bricks. I have no problem taking the kayak down but last time I had to make several trips back up. Next time I’m taking a furniture trolley 😂Unfortunately there’s not many places to launch here unless you go to the boat ramp at Windsor on The Hawkesbury River.
The AdvancedFrame Sport Kayak is perfect for Cathy because:
- It’s a super-lightweight kayak
- It’s nice and compact – a great kayak for travelling
- The high-backed seat is very comfortable and supportive for her back
- It’s very durable – she didn’t have to worry about submerged obstacles
- It’s a delight to paddle! Cuts through the water with a wonderful glide.
BUT, it might not be the right kayak for you.
It’s a lot of money down the drain if you get the wrong model, so it’s worth asking for my advice!Click HERE to get your FREE personalised kayak recommendation
About Oz Inflatable Kayaks
Hi, my name is Emily and over a decade ago I thought to myself “gee, I would really love to go kayaking … if only I had a big strong butler to help me get a kayak on and off roof racks. Oh, and several thousand dollars for the kayak and the roof racks (not to mention the cost of the butler)”.
To find a way to go paddling without a heavy hard-shell kayak, I started looking into inflatable kayaks. But I did NOT want a pool toy.
The Advanced Elements range of inflatable kayaks really blew me away (excuse the terrible pun).
I realised that the quality was not just about durability, it also meant that the kayaks were comfortable and easy to paddle straight and fast.
It just so happens that I was also looking for a business opportunity at the same time…
Nowadays I specialise (and delight) in selling Advanced Elements inflatables to all kinds of people in Australia.
I know the range so well that I do personalised recommendation videos to help people choose the right kayak.
It’s a no-obligation service that I enjoy doing AND it helps me in the long run because my customers that get a recommendation get the right kayak, first time. They are HAPPY customers!Click HERE to get your FREE personalised kayak recommendation
